# HTTP 404 Not Found Error

 * Hi,
    I am almost new user of WordPress. Currently I am working with my first 
   website in local environment. Whenever I visit my website everything is okay 
   but when I click to any of my posts or pages or menu it shows uo **HTTP 404 Not
   Found**
 * I am running Wampserver version 2.5 in window 8.1 32 bit operating system and
   
   Apache Version :2.4.9 PHP Version :5.5.12. MySQL Version :5.6.17. Please tell
   me how I would get rid of this problem.

 * Sorry about my post – I did not notice initially it was a different user – but
   I did notice after posting and embarrassingly and quickly edited my post to the
   current text (asking him to start a sep issue)

   hereafter with my problem and I think i fugured out what the problem is.
    If 
   you run your site with wampserver you can go to the Wampserver> Apache> Apache
   Modules> rewrite_module **(if unchecked just check it)**
 * After doing this my site is working fine. Please let me know if it works with
   yours.
