# HTTP 404 Errors

 * All of the links on my page for blog categories, archive, comments, etc are giving
   me an HTTP 404 Error. It was all working fine when I started up my website a 
   few days ago. But now everything seems to be falling apart.
 * Any suggestions?

 * You should have mentioned that you changed the permalinks – that’s your problem:
   they don’t work.
    1. Try to set them back to default. 2. Read: [http://codex.worpdress.org/Using_Permalinks](http://codex.worpdress.org/Using_Permalinks)
   3. After that try again the permalinks settings but before that check with your
   host if the requirements for the “nice” permalinks exist.

 * In particular, confirm your host has mod_rewrite and AllowOverride properly set.(
