    Hi,
I am getting constantly these errors with my cron-job:
wfCentralAPIException: HTTP 0 received from Wordfence Central: in /var/www/vhosts/…………………./httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wfCentralAPI.php:294. So I deleted and tried to reconnect my site to wordfence central again. But now I am getting the error HTTP 0 received from Wordfence central during the wordfence connection process and the site can‘t be connected.

Thanks for any idea to solve this problem.

Hi @venus10, thanks for getting in touch.

Can you send a diagnostic report so that I can see connectivity issues for myself to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    Thanks,

    Peter.

    Hi Peter,
I sent you the diganostics report you asked for. Just in addition to my last step with the wordfence central deletion I deactivated, deleted and reinstalled wordfence plugin as a first step which didn‘t help. Thanks for helping me

    Hi @venus10,

I received your diagnostic and can’t see any connectivity issues – which would normally point to an issue connecting in/out of your site and explaining why Central is not connecting. I also used this opportunity to check your /wp-json/wordfence/v1 path which seems to be operating as expected with the returned JSON from the REST API that I expect.

Head over to Wordfence Central, go to the Connection Issues tab. Clear out any sites that might be in here.

Now go back to your site and log in as an admin. Navigate to Tools > Diagnostics > Other Tests > Clear all Wordfence Central connection data. Clear the connection data, then from the Wordfence Dashboard, click on “Connect this site” in the Wordfence Central widget.
https://www.wordfence.com/help/central/connect/#troubleshooting-connection-issues also has some troubleshooting steps you could follow.

Let me know if you’ve tried all of the above and are still receiving errors.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

    Hi Peter

I tried what you recommended, no success. I deactivated and deleted the whole Wordfence Plugin installation including database tables and all other Wordfence specific files. Then I reinstalled it from scratch. Result: I still can’t connect to Wordfence Central, same error as before. So I am giving up now, thanks for your help.
