# HTML within Captions?

 * Is it possible to put simple HTML inside the captions in the Video Showcase gallery?
   For instance, I am trying to put in a `<br>` tag so I can break the caption into
   two line. Is this possible? ([http://mixpakrecords.com/wordpress/videos](http://mixpakrecords.com/wordpress/videos))

 * Alan, I just reposted this topic in the maxgalleria forum, but it seems evident
   that this support forum is far more active– plus the question that I’ve asked
   could additionally apply to the Maxgalleria plugin, not just the video showcase
   addon, am I wrong?

 * Yes, in general, Maxgalleria strips out HTML tags and special characters from
   the caption, title and alt text for security and to prevent breaking the template
   HTML.
