    Hi,
I really like your plugin, it makes placing event calendar events onto pages very easy.
I just have one question: My event descriptions have some html tags, especially hyperlinks to further information (e.g. test.blendeacht.ch the 3rd event from top, 23. August: the name Leonie should be a link). But it seems in the list resulting from the events calendar shortcode all html tags are stripped away in the excerpt in the list.
Is there an easy way to preserve the html code from the original event description in the shortcode list?
Thanks a lot for your input,
    Peter

    Hello!

That’s correct, currently the plugin uses excerpt which does strip out all links. Perhaps use just the title, date etc using the contentorder attribute? Then have the full event description page have whatever html and links you need. ie.

    [ecs-list-events contentorder='title, thumbnail, date, venue']

    Thanks for the quick reply.
Found in the mean while, that the “default” format of events lists generated by the “events calendar” plugin itself also strips html tags. But funny enough, the rss feed of the events calendar keeps them. 🙂
I understand that, stripping html also adds some security to the site. But having links in an event description which do not “pass through” to the overviews (listing etc) is hard to explain to non-computer nerds. So if that could be fixed in your plugin, it would add a lot of usability.
