Html site and WP blog – how much will WP slow down

  • my page, which is hosted sharingly at Godaddy ?
(Please no comments about how Bluehost etc. are soo much
faster as that may change once everyone has migrated there).
I would like to add that the blog is not intensively used,
but still there are at least a half dozen plugins that one needs…

Are they actually running the WP setup on the same shared server,
does anyone know how likely this is ?

Thanks much – just a symptom of Google scaring the s..t
out of all Webbies except those who think they are untouchable.

    Have you asked GoDaddy?

I meant how technically sensible is that for your average giant hosting provider…
no I may ask Godaddy but their support is a bit slow and they have told me convenient fairy stories in the past, when something had hit a fan of theirs 😉

No – if so I might “have an opinion” – find have been telling me tales in the past, every time anything out of order had happened.

Hoping for some neutral opinion or simply experience as Godaddy sup would be definitely last resort-ish.

It also happens that they do not answer at all…
theirs is a complex site, one sometimes gets lost on and they probably find that boring.
Still, I sort of like Godaddy, must be the Texan charm 😉
