Support » Plugin: Mailgun for WordPress » HTML rendered as plaintext in some emails

    Seen a few similar questions, without answers.

    With Mailgun plugin activated, emails sent by various plugins are now outputting all HTML as plaintext.

    Using Email Log I can see the HTML is displayed correctly. For instance a <br /> makes a break. However once sent by Mailgun I get all HTML displayed as plaintext. I’ve included an example below.

    Perhaps this is something to do with the wp_mail_content_type being set to text rather than HTML?

    Any ideas? Thanks

    Example:

    Hi there,<br />
    <br />
    XXXX@gmail.com has just created a new account at YYYY.<br />
    <br />
