# html removal help please

 * Hi,
 * A couple of months ago I added a time and date clock to my site which appears
   on every page on the right just below the header. I got it from one of those 
   free sites. I want to remove it completely from my site, but I can’t remember
   for the life of me how I uploaded it to my site! Obviously its in one of the 
   menus somewhere in editor, but I can’t remember which one or what to look for.
   Anybody know?

 * If it is a widget you can remove it from the widgets area in your backend.
    Or
   add: table#c2 {display:none} to your style.css.

 * No its not a widget. I remember cutting and pasting a line of html, but I just
   can’t remember where in editor I pasted it, or what the html was.

 * Looks like it’s in a text widget. To remove it, go to your dashboard, then to
   Appearance –> Widgets, locate it in your sidebar (which is displayed on the right
   side of the widgets page), expand it using the arrow icon, and click on the “
   delete” button. However, if you wanted to save it, you could just drag it out
   of your sidebar area to keep it for later use.

 * Updated to say, my sincere apologies, you were right it was a widget! I really
   don’t remember putting the code in a widget, I was convinced it was the editor
   somewhere, but thank you very much for prompting my failing memory!
