HTML Links > PHP Links

  • Okay so this might sound a little strange but here goes.

Originally I had a purely static html page with 6 pages and obviously the links were in the format <a href="blog.html>Blog</a>

I have one perfectly working page that uses a wordpress theme. All the images show up, everything works.

When I click one of the permalinks, the structure of the theme is still there but all the images are missing. Any idea why?

This working page is obviously a php page (index.php) and because I want the rest of the pages to use some wordpress functionality, these will have to be php pages also. Basically I want each page to display a sidebar that will have permalinks that will link back to the blog.

So my question is what replaces the html links. How does one effective say <a href="blog.php">Blog</a>?
