* I noticed some bad output (unclosed tags) when using the Archive list widget
in dropdown list.

* Thank you, you’re right about the unclosed tags in the Archive widget. Am I right
in guessing that they break your site’s layout?
* A temporary measure is to deactivate the plugin for Archive widgets by going
to “Settings” > “Widget Styling,” and checking “Archives widget.”
* Of course, it may look strange if there are other default widgets next to it.
