# HTML errors

 * The code produces jumbled HTML, like this:
 * <h2 read-more”=”” style=”text-align: <span class=”>
    [Read more](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/html-errors-6/good working link?output_format=md)
   <p></p> </h2>
 * As you can see, there’s no way to style the link since the class doesn’t show
   up. I’ve tried default theme but that’s not the problem.

 * Can you please share what shortcode/widget you’re using, and a link to the site
   on which you’re experiencing the issue? I can’t, off the top of my head, think
   of any reason this should be happening.

 * Thanks for your interest, it appears the theme was the problem, I’m not sure 
   why it affected the plugin.
