# HTML email Alert setting not saving

* Using Sucuri plugin version 1.7.17
* This is an issue that is happening on several sites using this plugin.
* In the plugin administration panel, Settings>Alerts>Alert Events:
When I try
to uncheck the “Receive email alerts in HTML”, the setting does not save. After
saving, the check is back, and I continue to receive those emails in HTML.
* All other settings in that section seem to be saving correctly.
* Also, I do not get any error message after saving.
* Any suggestions would be appreciated.

* I have the same issue. I keep getting emails for successful logins, but the setting
is disabled.

* All the issues related to the settings not being saved are generally caused by
an incompatibility of the current code that powers the plugin and WordPress network
installations. The plugin was intentionally programmed to not work in a multisite
installation, but I guess some people may prefer if it works no matter the environment,
I will work on this issue now.

* The sites I am having this issue with are not multi-site installations.
* Also, if I understand you correctly, you are basically saying the plugin is not
compatible with the latest version (4.4.2) of WordPress.

* Interesting, I was aware of the issue between the settings and the multisite
installations, but if you are in a normal website then it should be working.
I will look into this more carefully, will update this thread when I have a fix
for the problem; thanks for your patience.

* Bug fixed with commit 070bf8f [1] included in pull-request #8 [2]. Once the changes
are accepted we will release a new version of the plugin with the fix. However,
if you want/need this patch sooner you can opt to install the development version
of the code downloading this archive [3]. Thanks for your patience.
