 * Since the update, I have no idea how to edit HTML visually. I can only edit HTML
blocks as far as I know. I am trying to add Amazon image affiliate links and
I USED to be able to center the image and edit the alt text by clicking the center
button and the “image edit” button. But now I need to know how to manually do
it in code, unless there’s a way to do it through the classic editor.

 * You can do everything you said with a normal image block.
 * Make an Image block. Put your image into it. Resize it a bit using the handles(
because it will be full width otherwise). Then click the center button in the
   top toolbar to center it.
 * Now, on the right hand sidebar, there is a place to put the alt text under the
Image Settings dropdown. To make it a link, there is a Link Settings dropdown
where you can set it to link to a Custom URL and then put your link in.
