# HTML does not appear

 * I tried to place below text in the HTML box. In order to have an
    embeded flash
   movie played. But after ‘update’ the code is gone. Can anyone help me with this
   problem?

 * What’s the address of the site? Did you keep your templates (the ones in /wp-
   content) during the upgrade stage? Have you grafted them onto the fresh 2.0 installation?
   Have you got backups of your files?

 * Oh, it’s WordPress.com then. I believe you can do it nonethless, but the post
   in your blog does not appear to be interpreted as proper HTML.
 * Also, how would you upload Flash files. I am not too familiar with WP.com although
   I have an account. I am not sure this is possible either. Hope someone else in
   this forum can help… the forum is overloaded at the moment.

 * It might be because you’re using the “advanced” editor.
    Try viewing the post
   in the basic editor and paste the code in there.

   because we do NOT offer support for wp.com. Period.

   take your problem to wordpress.com. As I said we do not support that website
