HTML coding not working

I’ve been using WordPress for years and all of a sudden I am getting this:

As you can see none of the html coding is working correctly. I’ve used two post editors, Mars Edit and Macjournal and am obtaining the same results with both.

This started happening just yesterday.

Can anyone explain what is happening?
