The HTML tags, for example
are showing up in iTunes in the description.

    Shouldn't that HTML be removed?

iTunes uses the itunes:summary tag for the description content and that tag will not contain any HTML. It's fine for the content:encoded tag to contain HTML because the content is marked as CDATA - that means it will not be parsed as XML and will just be displayed as is.

But it does show up on the main podcast page in the iTunes Store. Look at the "description" here:

I don't see any HTML in there. This is what the podcast looks like when I load it up in iTunes: http://cl.ly/image/2i0l340C121y.

Strange, now upon refreshing, it's gone. Strange. Nevertheless: Problem solved:-)

    Have a nice weekend Hugh!

Great. It was probably a caching issue - v1.5 of the plugin made some changes to how that data is displayed in the feed, so iTunes just needed to fetch the new XML file.

    Glad it's sorted out!
