# HTML Code dissapearing

 * Hi, I read a thread regarding this topic but I am still confused.
 * I’m the only administrator for my blog and some html tags keep disappearing after
   I save my post/page. Specifically, the <center> tags and the break 
    tags.
 * I read about the plugin regarding role capabilities and something you can do 
   to the mySQL database but as far as I read, that’s only for people who have multiple
   authors. I’m the only one as the admin.
 * Anyone have any helpful tips???

 * I think that both center and br tags are automatically removed when your blog
   posts are saved because you shouldn’t be using those.
 * If you want to center a paragraph, use the wisywig icon that allows you to left,
   right or centre text.
 * Break tags will be removed at all times. If you want breaks, you need to change
   the padding of your p tags in your style sheet.

 * Thanks for answering. I found this link that shows the accepted tags you can 
   use in wordpress, and the center and break tags are included.

 * I was just trying to center a table, which eventually I got to somehow. But still
   having problems with the break tag. My paragraph tags also go away.

 * Ok – are you adding these tags when using the HTML tab or are you using the Visual
   Editor at any point? Switching between the two will cause some markup to be removed.
