    Hello Ben @hinampaksh

I am using latest version of Beaver Builder along with WP’s latest version. I designed a page using BB and everything is all good except when i paste HTML code(it’s for displaying a button) using the HTML module, the button appears on the page but when i Publish the page , the button disappears. There’s no error reported though in this case.

Can you please suggest a solution? Awaiting your early response.

    Thanks/Manish

After you Publish and then you go back to edit the HTML module – is the HTML markup still in the box ? or is the HTML area empty ?

@corrinarusso @hinampaksh the problem only starts after I refresh the page( after publishing) or open up the page in incognito too. The button disappears.

However HTML module that was added still remains there and the HTML code is also present in the HTML area but NO Button.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey @mb299,

Can you try adding the markup to a page that doesn’t use the builder and see if it works there? 🙂

    Hi Ben, good question.

I tried it just now and it didn’t work on a normal page too. However it works when I save HTML code in a .html file and run it on a browser.

I also tried deactivating the cache plugin – Am using Wp Super Cache and Autoptimize.

    It still didnt work.

If I delete Builder Beaver plugin, will I lose my page too? If not, I can try uninstalling and reinstalling.

Also, I now vaguely recall, that when I started to use Builder for the first time, it gave me an error as under:
Beaver Builder has detected a plugin conflict that is preventing the page from saving.(In technical terms there’s probably a PHP error in Ajax)

    Please suggest a possible solution.

@hinampaksh Also, I read your KB article on troubleshooting plugin conflicts and followed it as suggested.

    Nothing worked.

    This is FYI please.

Open the browser developer tools and see if there is an error when you click publish.

Its likely your host has a security module blocking you posting script tags from the frontend, it probably thinks you are replying to a comment and trying to include inline scripts. If this is the case there will be an error in the console and you can try the MODSEC fix described here: https://kb.wpbeaverbuilder.com/article/40-403-forbidden-or-blocked-error

    Hi Simon,@pross

I don’t think my host is blocking anything and the reason why I am saying this is because, I tried the same HTML code on another website on the same host ,on a normal page(I don’t have any builder there) and it worked perfectly.

However, on the other hand I tried something else too. The original HTML code is

    <script src=”https://js.instamojo.com/v1/button.js”></script&gt;

    BUT I changed this to
<button>Place your Order here</button> AND this worked perfectly on a non-builder page. I haven’t tried it yet on the builder page.

Hope this helps. And could you please suggest on the error that I saw on PHP error in Ajax.

You never told us what the error was. If there is a PHP error it will be in your logs if there is an error while publishing it will be in the dev console, the modsecurity fix _should_ fix the issue if it is your host blocking scripts which 95% of shared hosts do.

@pross Sorry, the message got sent without me seeing that some part got deleted.

The changed HTML code is <a href=”https://www.instamojo.com/@manishbhatia29/lf118eb6b19b54916befba67e2b1881ac/
<button>Place your Order here</button> and it worked perfectly on non-builder page.

The original HTML code that didn’t work is

    <script src=”https://js.instamojo.com/v1/button.js”></script&gt;

Please suggest on the PHP error on Ajax that I saw.

@pross I had mentioned the error in my reply that was sent 8 hours 40 minutes ago. Please check that as well.

Oh, you mean the popup asking you to check the logs and the console so we know the error.

You can either add the fix described in the docs and try that, or find the error in your logs and tell us the error and we can hopefully provide a solution based on that.

@pross , I read the article that you shared on MODSEC fix and will try that too and certainly will speak to my host as well. But I saw PHP error only when I used BB for the first time and it never appeared after that and the page I designed worked perfectly except for the HTML code

And now , even on a normal, non-builder page, the code isn’t working.

When you say not working were you able to save the page? Is the script in the page but it isn’t rendering or are you still not able to save the page?

Do you have a link to the page where you added the script to a non bb page and its not working?
