Support » Plugin: WP Mail SMTP by WPForms » HTML Code

  • After updating to 1.3.2, I noticed HTML code showing in my emails rather than an HTML-formatted message. Disabled plugin and emails show correctly.

    Hi @burlingtonpress,

Please list here your active plugins.
Do you use any plugin that is tweaking email output/content/design?
    How do you send emails?

I use Formidable Pro for the forms on that site. It creates a simple 2-column table for the form response email. There are numerous plugins running, more than I want to type out here.

I’m noticing that “MIME-Version: 1.0” is missing from the email when sent through WP Mail SMTP. I assume that’s the cause. I’m just wondering what changed between this version and previous releases.

    1) Which mailer are you using?
    2) Please provide a list of active plugins (just to go a page wp-admin > Plugins > Active and copy the list here, no need to manually type)
    3) Was Formidable Pro updated recently?

We have not changed any headers in emails, so without the information from 1) and 2) I’m not able to replicate and investigate.

I was using the SMTP mailer. Formidable Pro was not updated recently.
