.Htaccess redirect to subdomains

  • Hi,

Im in a bit of a bind and cant really make the .htaccess redirect work for a subdomain to a subfolder.
Wordpress is installed in the root directory on the server and i need to redirect a subdomain to a different wp folder on the same server.

    Looks something like this:

    http://www.example.com <- WP install
sub.example.com should be redirected to http://www.example.com/sub <- WP install
but it looks like normal rewrite rules dont apply, seems like the wp .htaccess simply overrides the lines i add.

    Any suggestions?

Depends on where you are putting your rules and how they are written. Make sure you are getting your rule(s) right and post your .htaccess file. Ten lines or less you can post right here. Otherwise use the pastebin.
