  • Any idea why adding:

    RewriteRule ^(about/subscribe)(/[0-9]+)?/?$ /index.php?pagename=$1&page=$2 [QSA,L]

to my .htaccess file wouldn’t allow me to access the folders /mp3/ and /pics/ in my home directory ? I need the line of code in .htaccess in order to view the sub-pages of “about” — I can’t view the page “susbscribe” without the code in the .htaccess file but with it in the .htaccess file I get a PAGE NOT FOUND error when I try to access the files in the two directories.

    Thanks,
    Damon

  • I think your regular expression matches more than it should. What happens if you just split it to rewrite rules that correspond to single pages? I imagine that you haven’t many pages under this level.

Yea, I think I might get rid of the parent and see how things work that way.

    Thanks!
