I was going thru the error logs on my server and found this particular error. I was wondering if anyone could explain this to me as I am at a loss as to what is happening here. I have changed some of the ip ranges for obvious reasons. I have been having problems with the blog - googlebot cannot reach it etc and was wondering if this could be part of that problem.

[Tue Jun 27 00:43:52 2006] [error] [client xx.xxx.xxx.xxx] mod_rewrite: maximum number of internal redirects reached. Assuming configuration error. Use 'RewriteOptions MaxRedirects' to increase the limit if neccessary.

Could this cause problem for the website or what? Im so new to all this that I really have no idea what I can do to rectify this. Any help appreciated.

Is this the only error-message you get? Look in your Log-Files if there's something like "Headers already sent by..."

COULD have something to do with a plugin. Look at http://codex.wordpress.org/Answers-Trouble_Shooting#Headers_already_sent in that case - maybe this helps?!
