.htaccess problems

  • Hi all,
    I’m a usual administrator of wordpress and it’s the first time that I have some mistakes with .htaccess mod_rewrite rules. I’m currently customizing a new blog installed on a hosting company which I never worked with, but phpinfo tells me that the mod_rewrite module is laoded:
    http://www.pur-flon.ch/phpinfo.php

    Now, once I use the wordpress mod_rewrite rules for cool url, the index.php has to be called on the url…
    http://www.pur-flon.ch/site/index.php/rubrique/reservations

    If I write:
    http://www.pur-flon.ch/site/rubrique/reservations
    I’ll have a page not found error… any ideas?

    Here the content of my .htaccess:
    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /site/
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /site/index.php [L]
    </IfModule>
    # END WordPress
