htaccess problem: links don't work after move (4 posts)

I took a version of nectardesign.com's wordpress and put it into a folder on http://rasadesign.com/nectardesign/ and changed the .htaccess file to read:

    # BEGIN WordPress
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /nectardesign/
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    # END WordPress

(both with and without the module conditional)

The links, for example, http://www.rasadesign.com/nectardesign/category/all-products trip my site's 404 error.

The database was a direct copy of the one that's still working correctly at http://nectardesign.com except for changing 'nectardesign.com' to 'rasadesign.com/nectardesign' in the database in the options table.

What can I do to fix this?

you need to update your permalinks inside wordpress' admin area. you told apache when you mucked with the .htaccess, you still havent told WP.

    see if that helps.

Thanks. I was afraid of that, but where would I change it from within the database, itself?

You can either change in the admin > Options > General: the 2 URI values... or directly in the database:
