.htaccess is reverted to default anytime a page is loaded – subpages broken

    I have some major problems with my multisite-install.

    1) When i try to make changes in .htaccess to what the Codex says (http://bit.ly/1HtCLks), it changes back to the default .htaccess file as soon as a page front end is visited.

    When I update the .htaccess-file, i make sure to change the permissions to 444, but its being overwritten anyway.

    Also, when trying accessing wp-admin on one of the subsites, I get a redirect loop, so I can’t update permalink structure on the subsite.

    I really need help on this one.
