htaccess generating &feed prior to rules

  • I recently transfered over to a different host, and on a project’s website that I’m working on, the htaccess needs to be writable for the users to add pages. The problem is the htaccess rule keeps begining with &feed, prior to the start of the ifmodule. PHP is the same as before. MySQL is version 4.0.24, an upgrade from the prior host with 3.x.xx

Any idea as to where I can edit this out/fix it? I glanced over options-permalinks.php and googled, but neither turned up anything useful.
