 * I’m sorry if this is already answered.
 * I’m having problems with doing a backup from the ftp of the .htaccess file. I’m
   using Mac OSX and I understand that there are some issues with that. Is there
   a way to do this or how can I wite a new file if needed?

 * Unless you’ve added custom rules you can easily regenerate the .htaccess rules
   from the permalinks section of your wordpress dashboard.
