the htaccess file but their was no htaccess file, so decided to create on and
got a http 500 error and it forced me to delete the db and start all over again.

 * If you got 500 error when adding .htaccess file, then there could be something
wrong in your .htaccess file. You don’t have to start it all over again. Just
correct the error in your .htaccess file.

 * thats the thing is that when i create a .htaccess from scratch all i do is copy
and paste the code from the network page, where its like “copy this into your
htacess file” and then upload it causes the error…and then even if i delete the
htacess file i still have the error…
 * ok so after i deleted the data base and deleted all the files from the folder
to which you upload your webpages i still get the 500 error…how do i fix this.
 * how do i remake the .htaccess file?

 * Internal server errors (error 500) are usually described in more detail in the
server error log. If you have access to your server error log, generate the error
again, note the date and time, then immediately check your server error log for
anything useful. If you don’t have access to your server error log, ask your
hosting provider to look for you.
