Support » Plugin: Multisite Language Switcher » hreflang of pages (not the home page)

  • Hello,

    All my pages have some hrelang tag with a link to the home page in different languages.
    Actually on http://www.example.com/page-example.html :

    <link rel=”alternate” hreflang=”de-CH” href=”http://www.example.ch/” />
    <link rel=”alternate” hreflang=”de-DE” href=”http://www.example.de/” />
    <link rel=”alternate” hreflang=”en-CA” href=”http://www.example.ca/” />

    I need to have :

    <link rel=”alternate” hreflang=”de-CH” href=”http://www.example.ch/page-example.html” />
    <link rel=”alternate” hreflang=”de-DE” href=”http://www.example.de/page-example.html” />
    <link rel=”alternate” hreflang=”en-CA” href=”http://www.example.ca/page-example.html” />

    Is it possible to have a link to the correspondant page ?

    Best regards,

    Yes, of course … it should already be like that. Are those pages tied together?

    Here an example from my site:

    <link rel="alternate" hreflang="de" href="https://lloc.de/msls" title="Deutsch"/>
    <link rel="alternate" hreflang="it" href="https://lloc.it/multisite-language-switcher" title="Italiano"/>

    Hi Dennis,

    Thanks for your reply, yes those pages are tied together with Multisite Language Switcher. When we click on the flag the links are good but the hreflang always link the home page. Is it possible to send you the URL of our website by private message ?

    Best regards,
