Hi @totogigi, thanks for reaching out.
When you’re speaking of adding URLs to the allowlist, did you do so using Learning Mode? I would traditionally expect this to solve any issues around blocked pages/actions regardless of the user role or username while turned on, but if the allowlisted actions are tied to user roles in some way to determine permissions, then perhaps the allowed path is valid for one role/user but not another.
From the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. During this time, perform the action that is causing issues for all user roles that could potentially have access to it. This will help Wordfence learn that these actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly for everybody.
Let me know how you get on!
Peter.
Hi Peter, thank you for your answer; i have done what you suggest, but after come back to enabled and protecting, the problem still remains.
in your opinion how long should I leave learning mode? I did it only for the time necessary for the shop manager to carry out the operation.
Thank you in advance for any help
Alberto
Hi @totogigi,
I would only recommend Learning Mode to be enabled during the operations so you were absolutely right to do that. If you’re not noticing any improvement, I could check out your site configuration to see if there are any communication issues.
Can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.
NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email
Thanks again,
Peter.
OK done it

Alberto
Hi @totogigi,
There are no communication issues between your site and other external services by the looks of things, which I might expect to see when processes are not allowed.
You have some plugin updates, one of which is to Rank Math so please ensure that everything in your plugins list and WordPress in general is up-to-date.
If you use WooCommerce or WordPress user management, please ensure the “gestore negozio” user has the sufficient user permissions level to make these changes. Failing this, please can you show us a screenshot of what is shown to the user when they are disallowed from making changes? You can use a service like Snipboard to achieve this.
Thanks,
Peter.
Hi Peter, thank you for your suggest; i forwarded to the customer; monday i will have the answer.

Alberto
Hi @totogigi, do you have any further information regarding this issue from the user?
Thanks,
Peter.
Hi wfpeter, nothing changed, the issue still remains.
