It sounds like this is the solution to an issue I have, using the same header image on all posts in a given category and nowhere else. In your description of the plugin you make the statement: “To use this functionality with categories or tags, you will also need to install the excellent Taxonomy Metadata plugin.”

    How is this done?

    Thanks – Ken

Just install the Taxonomy Metadata plugin alongside the Unique Headers plugin, and you should get support for categories and tags automatically.

Here’s the link to the other plugin:

Hopefully this is does what you need 🙂 And if it still doesn’t help, please let me know and I’ll do my best to assist.

THANKS for your immediate response – you must be sitting on your computer!

Installed both plugins – no issue. They added the following entry to the Categories edit page: “Upload header image“. Which I did and saved it. However, I still get the default image for the category – which is the default image for the theme.

BTW, using Weaver Xtreme as my theme.

    Thanks – Ken

Could you try one of the default themes and see if this problem still occurs? That will rule out it being an issue with the theme.
