Support » Requests and Feedback » How to write own style code in my posts?

  • Hi, I would like to introduce something like own microformats in my page so I have created some special classes in my style.css to relate things. The question is this, how can I put these tags in my posts? I write in the section code things as <div class=”…”> but it doesen’t do anything. I just can put blockquotes, codes or other html tags already introduced in the WordPress writting page.

Could I write real html code in the section code??? Am I doing something wrong?

  • a) Disable the wysiwyg editor and write html. Users -> Your Profile. uncheck the box to use the visual rich editor.

    b) if you just gotta use the wysiwyg, consider hitting that “Code” tab at the top of it to put in your class tags.

Thanks a lot for your response. Anyway I found that box already unchecked and it worked strangely because when I marked it, I could see the visual and code tabs again, but in this last one, I could see more code than before althought div tags were wrote as p tags. So at least I had made something incorrect, may it was a little bug there. I have unchecked again the box, and now I just saw the code. I still find old div tags like p tags, but if I write new div’s, they keep their name. Going again to the visual code, they change again their name.

    Anyway, thanks.
