    Hi,
I’m trying to use a combo of settings and am stuck. Here’s the scenario:
On my entire website, there are only few pages (say Page1, 2, 3) where I need to display a widget, say W1. For this, on Dynamic Widgets, I used W1’s Page settings (Show widget default on static pages=No and Except the page(s)=Page1, 2, 3. This works fine i.e. displays W1 only on mentioned pages.
Now I need to restrict the widget to display on either of these pages (Page1, 2, 3) on the basis of a query string. I don’t have the setup for query string, so I just tried restricting one of the pages using the URL settings (Show widget at this URL=Yes and Except the URLs: *Page1*).
I was expecting that the above settings will display W1 only on Page2 and Page3 (and not on Page1), but it is being displayed on Page1 as well.
I can see that Page settings are overriding URL settings, but why and how can I get this to work?

Please read the info for URL settings by clicking on the info balloon. In this case you probably have to use an exact match URL.
