to white list a range of IP addresses, can I use a IP format like 162.158.0.0/15 (this is cloudflare IP range)?

You can whitelist a range of IPs, but not with that particular notation. Instead just write:

    162.158.0

    or

    162.158

    or

    162

In other words, think pattern matching 😉

    Awesome! Thank you! 😊

    Sorry, reopened the ticket.

I whitelisted 108.162 but 108.162.219.22 is banned too.

Does the space after commas matters?

    Request URI: /blog/?blackhole=eb82efeb7f
    IP Address: 108.162.219.22
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_9_2) AppleWebKit/537.75.14 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/7.0.3 Safari/537.75.14

It could be a bug if something related changed in the latest version of WP.. a couple of things to try:

    – try 108.162.
    – try with and without the comma space (it shouldn’t matter)

Also make sure the IP actually is banned and not just recorded in the log.

If those things don’t help then it could be a bug, but it was working fine the last time I checked.

    try 108.162.

looks like adding a dot at the end is working.
