  • Try this plugin….This plugin only works in WordPress 2.0+

    http://ryowebsite.com/wp-content/category_vis-rh.zip

after you activate it, then go to manage » category visibility » unclick all categories that you don’t want on the front page.

Isnt there any way to manipulate the index themefile etc to lock on one category? Ill try your suggestion, and it will work i suppose. But Id rather lock it on one category, instead of excluding all the others.

Sure. Have a look at The_Loop. There are examples there.

The nice thing about going with a plugin is you can change themes and not lose the filtering. Or you can just edit the theme again. Either approach works just fine.
