How to Validate User Who Has Registered?

After installing reCaptcha, I enabled commenting on my blog. To test it, I “registered” under a different name, using a different e-mail address. I successfully passed the reCaptcha test as the user, and was told I’d get an e-mail confirming my registration. So far, so good…

I also got an e-mail as the administrator, telling me there was a new user who had signed up. Beyond that brief information, the e-mail contained only the user’s e-mail address.

Now it seems that everything is waiting for me to “validate” the user, but I haven’t found anywhere to do this. I’ve looked in the ‘Users’ section, tools, anywhere I could think of, and several places that made no sense (just in case).

How do you validate the new users?
