[resolved] How to use with WP-Bootstrap theme? (4 posts)

What, if anything, should I know about using this plugin together with a Bootstrap WordPress theme - in particular, 320press' WP-Bootstrap - which already includes the Bootstrap files?

I expect I want to avoid overlap or duplication of the core Bootstrap files.

Unfortunately, you're going to have overlap with the file with the way the plugin is written.

With some development this could be overcome, but I'm not sure when this will be put into place just yet.

What functionality from the plugin would you be looking add to your site?

I am interested to introduce the kinds of scaffolding and components from Bootstrap itself to my nice Boostrap theme... from adding variants of the 12-column layout in to posts and pages, to using buttons, icons, progress bars etc.

I have now added DW Shortcodes Bootstrap plugin to my site and so far am using it without conflict. It just gnaws at me that there are now probably two installs of the underlying Bootstrap core.

can you give your site link and I'll see.

That plugin you mentioned hasn't been updated since the beginning of November, so the bootstrap package it uses will be out of date.

What is it in the DW plugin that it has that our plugin doesn't, or vice versa - why do you need both?
