How to use html tags (like shy­) with Gutenberg?

    Hello,

    we want to add ­ tags to our texts to allow the browser to correctly split words apart. While I can view and edit any text in HTML-mode, my change is lost as soon as I open the editor for that text again. So all changes of this kind are gone after the second edit.

    Can you tell me if this is a bug or feature and how to come around this?

    Hi,

    Using ­ or ­ in the code editor, saving and reloading the page works for me. The tags don’t show after saving, but they are definitely there as the text breaks in the correct place. Could that be the issue? Which version of Gutenberg are you on?
