How to use this plugin with a custom coded ajax widget on the sidebar?

  • I’m new to Ajax with WordPress. And I’ve just downloaded this plugin in hopes that it will work with an ajax calendar on the sidebar. By clicking on a day or range of days on the calendar, we want the matching post or posts to those dates to load in the primary center area. The url coming from our calendar will look like this:

    http://mysite.com/?startDate=2013-07-02&endDate=2013-07-04

where those will be the post dates. Does this plugin somehow magically work out of the box or will I need to place shortcodes somewhere? I changed the html the plugin is supposed to load into in the settings page (instead of center, we are using a theme with a div id that’s “primary). Is that all I have to do? Is there any documentation for the plugin? Thanks!
