I have the themes folfer 755 and the themes inside it 777 but I don’t understand how to save the changes I make with the theme editor!

  • Change them to 666, so that they are writable and savable in WordPress…

Change to 666 the theme folder or each theme separately?

    To be writable:
    folders 777
    files 666.
Otherwise, to avoid hacking your site, change them back immediately to:
    folders 755
    files 644.

For the above reason = 777 and 666 leaves your site wide open for every hacker… I never use that online editor. Edit the files on your computer and upload via FTP. It is safe.

Oh man!I am so confused with this file permisions.
