How to use relative paths for media files?

  • Hi,

I have a big problem. I want wordpress to be accessible through http and https. I found the “WordPress HTTPS” plug in, which works nice but not 100% perfect because of the fact that wordpress doesn’t work with relative paths. An example…

If I access the site through http and create a post, the picture pathes will be “http://…..”. This leads to the problem that there are unsecure objects if I want to edit this past over https.

Same if I create the post over https. Then the pathes will be “https://….” so they will accessed through https even the page is called by http.

Its kinda annoying to edit this by hand. Is there any plug in or workaround?
