  • Hi I have been trying to figure out do this for the past 3 days I’m sure there is probably an easy way to do it if there is please tell me…

I want to have the menu links and side bar headings as images not text this is my site at the top where it says home, about, and contact I want to have an image as a link and on the side bar I want to have images saying search, archives etc. instead of text… i mocked up this version quickly on IWEB which lets me edit the design how i want it however I prefer WordPress as a blogging tool, I would be willing to pay someone a small fee to do it for me I have all the images ready to go or if anyone has code I can insert that would be great thanks so much gaby

The easiest way of doing this would be to edit sidebar.php and code the images into the sidebar just above their respective template tags. Then suppress the default text headings within the template tags.

A more sophisticated (and in my opinion, better) approach would be to use CSS to position the images on top of the default headings. That way, anyone visiting the site without access to images (and/or CSS) still gets an effective, and reasonably pleasant looking, site navigation menu.
