How to use custom icon instead of sub menu drop down icon?

    I’m trying to eliminate font-awesome from the site. So was trying to replace the sub menu drop down arrow icon with custom SVG icon. The SVG icons are working everywhere, but not in the drop down icon.

    There is an option for choosing different icons, but it only works when I choose from the listed icons. Not showing when I’m uploading SVG files separately.
