    Hi there,

How can we use the “anonymize_ip_address” filter to disable the anonymization?

    Thanks!

  • Hello,

Same issue. I would like to disable the anonymization. 🙁

    Thank you in advance.

    Best Regards

Nobody wants this kind of anonymization.
    It’s stupid.
    Now ips aren’t useful.
For small business owners and common citizens, of course.
Because those who rule the world, they know everything about ips. And they are also those who make these laws.

Very convenient all those Facebook leaks, repeatedly, few weeks before this law is operative.

    To generate consent.

Who is being protected with this evil laws? Not the people.

Ah, yes, I should have provided that in the readme. To disable IP anonymization you can add this in your functions.php-file:

    add_filter( 'simple_history/privacy/anonymize_ip_address', '__return_false' );

    Hi,

It is working. Thank you for reply.

I think you may sell the premium version of this plugin with some additional features. Especially, it is not the best way to have some features by adding the code manually.

    Thank you again.

    Best Regards

Thank you for providing that filter Pär!
