Hi,
It’s possible that the theme does not use the native WordPress functionality for excerpts but instead has it’s own custom function.
In which case the plugin can not hook into the filter for excerpts and modify it.
Which theme are you using, I’ll give it a check.
Hi, I am currently using beclinic theme. Please feel free to look at my site http://cfff88608e2042670.temporary.link

Hi,
Sorry for the wait, it was weekend and it’s a free plugin, so support is handled Monday-Friday.
BeClinic is a commercial theme so I’m unable to test it out on my own.
But I see the blog page is made with Elementor. That I was able to test and it doesn’t work.
We’ll release an update this week to make it compatible.
That would be really cool, I’ll wait for that and thanks in advance! =)
Hello, btw, can you tell me how to use this plugin? Appreciated, thank you!

Hi,
You just activate it, head over to Settings > Excerpt ( or click on the Settings link just below the “Advanced Excerpt” title on the plugins page ) and set how you want the excerpt to be modified ( length, read more button… ).
And after I got the settings I want, it works automatically?

Yes, for regular themes. With page builders things are a bit different and we’re working on making it compatible.
Alright, any update on making it compatible with beclinic theme? Thank you!
