    Hello,
    I was wondering how I can use your special form string “%N%”?
    It says:
    %N% –> The form instance number. Useful when you have more than one form on a certain page.

    I don’t know if I am supposed to insert the string into this shortcode, [mc4wp-form], or somewhere else.

    Could you please let me know with an example?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi there,

    You can use this in the form mark-up (on the form settings page) for id and for attributes (for example), or for custom CSS styling.

    Example form mark-up

    <label for="f{n}_name">Name</label>
    <input id="f{n}_name" name="NAME" type="text" />

    HTML Output (for first form on page)

    <label for="f1_name">Name</label>
    <input id="f1_name" name="NAME" type="text" />

    Hope that helps.

    PS. I’m using {n} because %N% is deprecated.
