    sorry I am a beginner in coding wordpress , I have installed and copy and paste the example – functions.php into my theme . but nothing happened .

    how to use this plugin ?
    I ask how to display the date input and input fields on a custom post type?

    Have you looked over the wiki/docs available for it?

    What about a 5 minute video tutorial showing how it works?

    As there are a bunch of steps to follow to get it to work.
    Copy the code to the child theme functions.php file…… check.
    Displaying meta data….. not check. A few more details would help. A more handson from there on…..

    it’s all stored in the wp_postmeta table so any custom field/get_post_meta tutorial is going to be a good bet to be related. Meta keys are going to be whatever $prefix you use appended to the start of the ID you specify for each field.
