How to upload image to theme library for use on homepage

Hi!

I’m trying to change the image of me on my homepage at http://www.amberleerose.com

It is currently not editable through the “edit page” option as it’s part of the php code. I’ve been able to change other aspects of the php, like the writing in the header image, but I can’t figure out how to change the image of me.

I tried uploading the new photo into my media library and changing the php, but that did not work. It seems like I need to upload the new photo into the “theme library” but I don’t know how to do that.
