We have WooCommerce with WooCommerce Subscriptions obviously
    We also have Automated Woo

But to date neither of the above solutions are able to update shipping rates with shipping classes on existing subscribers.

Having to manually edit a large number of subscribers in todays world seems archaic in design.

There is a another closed thread with no solution mentioned

Hoping to find someone out there that has been able to achieve the task of being able to update shipping charges in an automated way.

At the moment I have confirmation from WooCommerce support that this is not possible without custom development 🙁

    Hey @thyran!

    Thanks for reaching out.

As mentioned here premium extensions are not supported on this forum which is specific for WooCommerce core.

I can recommend the following places for more development-oriented questions:

    * WooCommerce Slack Community: https://woocommerce.com/community-slack/
    * WooCommerce Community on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/advanced.woocommerce/

These are channels where many developers hang out and they’re best placed to help you with this.

If you require further help with a custom-coded solution, we highly recommend contacting one of the services on our customizations page: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.

Been through that channel already but as mentioned in my post they have confirmed it is not possible with the premium extension you mention.

Hence the purpose for this topic to see if anyone has been able to achieve the simple task of being able to update existing subscribers shipping rates with shipping classes without having to manually adjust the prices for all subscribers every time there is a fluctuation in shipping costs.

Can be done without shipping classes by means of Automate Woo.

    Hi @margaretwporg

    Thank you

I did submit two support request before creating this thread and as indicated several times it is currently not possible with WooCommerce, WooCommerce Subscriptions and Automate Woo

Hence the reason for this post.

Please dont close this thread as I would like anyone to be able to add viable solutions that they may have.

There was a third party plugin / extension called subscription extras that was developed to achieve this function but the plugin has been abandoned and no longer works

The WooCommerce Subscriptions support team have lodged a feature request and the Automate Woo support team have also lodged a feature request to be able to target shipping rates with shipping classes with their product.

At the moment there is no need to submit a ticket to support since the feature is not supported by the mentioned products.

    Thank you

    Hi @thyran

    Thanks for clarifying!

Never mind. This thread is open for inputs, and you can also get help in the development-related channels Mirko shared above.
