You cannot update because WordPress 3.3.1 requires MySQL version 5.0 or higher. You are running version 4.1.14.

    How do I update MySQL?

That's not something you'll typically be able to update. Please contact your hosting company Yahoo and ask them if they'll upgrade that mysql server.

I just did this myself for a client who hosts with Yahoo Small Business.

It's dreadfully easy, but I would make sure to have things backed up in case craziness ensues (you never know, with databases).
